Very trustworthy and efficient car rental company. We rented a car for 10 days and super happy about the service. Chantal welcomed us at the airport and kindly helped us with all our other inquiries (exchanging money, places to visit etc.), handed over the car and picked up the car from us on return. Very honest business, highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with islax cars…Adorable and extremely approachable Chantal delivered the car at ferry port… She was extremely patient and explained everything and all our queries were solved…she was always there to help us incase we stuck anywhere… Suggesting us affordable spa services to suggesting us to spent time at Eden island since we had a night flight.. we are extremely happy with the service…

And small advice to people renting car in mahe..

As compared to parslin, mahe had extremely steep roads and hence the petrol usage was much more… So we would advice you to keep the petrol atleast half filled as the gas stations are far off and few are closed post 8..

Also a small suggestion to islax cars: It would be great if the car was delivered with full petrol and we return it to you ll with ful petrol.. that way it’s easy for both of us to avoid finding gas stations on immediate basis..

I booked Hyundai i10 grand at Islax Cars from the 1st till the 16th of July 2024 on the recommendation of my closed friend and I’m absolutely satisfied. I think that Islax is the best car rental on Mahe and mostly because of its client oriented policy under Chantal supervision.

The car was in good technical condition and it was easy to drive even in the mountains.

Chantal was always on-line via WhatsApp.

I’m sure next time on Mahe I’ll book a car at Islax.

If you rent a car in the Seychelles, you should pick this company. Very friendly, and always available for any questions.

The engine belt got almost thorn apart on my last day – got a replacement car the same day, no questions asked.

Booked via recommendation from the Savoy! Chantel was helpful from start to finish renting our car. Price is good and in the same range of competitors. Chantel was reachable via WhatsApp and even sent us a very helpful list of activities and sites to see whilst in Mahe. She met us at the CatCocos jetty and then let us return the car to the airport.
